With a profit of 43.867 billion yuan, China Shenhua was shortlisted as the 18th most profitable company. Huaibei Mining Holdings Co., Ltd. is a newly listed company with a revenue of 54.687 billion yuan, ranking 173th, and the coal industry ranked 5th. The remaining shortlisted listed coal companies are the same as last year.

In addition, among the listed companies in the top 500, coal-related listed companies include Zhengzhou Coal Mining Machinery Group Co., Ltd., Yangmei Chemical Co., Ltd., Henan Shenhuo Coal and Electricity Co., Ltd. and Tiandi Technology Co., Ltd.

It is reported that the total operating income of the 500 listed companies in China this year reached 45.5 trillion yuan, an increase of 14.8% over last year, and a record high; net profit reached 3.625 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.21% over last year, compared with 24.24 last year. In terms of the percentage increase, the macroeconomic impact has slowed significantly. The company's annual revenue threshold for this year's list is 16.238 billion yuan, an increase of 17% compared with last year. Last year, China ’s GDP exceeded 90 trillion yuan for the first time, and the combined revenue of these 500 listed companies again exceeded half of China ’s GDP that year.

The top three companies on the list are still: Sinopec, PetroChina and China Construction. Ping An of China ranked No. 1 among non-state-owned enterprises. This year, a total of 42 new and re-listed companies, of which Xiaomi Group ranked 53rd with a total revenue of 174.9 billion yuan.

In terms of profitability, the situation is the same as last year. Apart from a few major commercial banks and insurance companies, the 10 most profitable listed companies are still China Mobile, Tencent Holdings Limited and Alibaba Group Holdings Limited. The total profits of these ten companies last year reached 1.46 trillion yuan, accounting for 40.3% of the total profits of all the companies on the list.
